Which iPhone suits you?
Most people need less phone than they think. If you mainly call, message, navigate and take photos of children and holidays, an iPhone 13 or 14 will do you fine for years: both models still get software updates for years to come, run every app in the App Store and have a camera nobody complains about.
If you shoot a lot in the dark or film regularly, the step up to a Pro model is worth it. From the iPhone 13 Pro you get 120 Hz ProMotion, a telephoto lens and a noticeably better night mode. From the 14 Pro a 48 MP main camera is added, and from the 15 Pro a titanium housing that feels a good deal lighter.
When choosing, pay most attention to storage. 64 GB is tight if you take a lot of photos; 128 GB is enough for most people; 256 GB is comfortable if you keep films offline as well. The price step per storage tier is much smaller on refurbished devices than at Apple itself, so going up a size is rarely expensive here.
The condition is the one thing you do not have to think about here. Every device gets a new screen and a new housing, so there is no trade-off between more marks of use and less: there are none. That saves you the puzzling over condition labels other shops put you through.
