How we do it
Whatever is worn out we replace. Whatever is good stays.
There is rarely anything fundamentally wrong with an iPhone that is a few years old. The logic board works, the camera works, and it has years of updates ahead of it. What you can actually see is all on the outside: scratches on the screen, a dent in the edge, a tired battery. Those are precisely the parts we replace.
Every device comes apart on our bench. A new screen goes in and a new housing goes on. After that it runs through thirty-two check points: battery, cameras, ports, sensors, network and every single button. Anything that does not pass goes back on the bench or is used for parts.
That is why you do not choose a condition here. There is only one, and it is as new. You pay a third to half of the price of a new device and you get twenty-four months of warranty with it, twice as long as Apple gives on a refurbished device of its own.

Your old device is worth more than you think.

The screens, housings and batteries we fit meet the original specification. Whatever we replaced is listed with the device.
If something breaks within 24 months, we repair it ourselves. Your device does not have to leave the country first.

The difference
We do not polish devices up, we build them up.
Most shops in this corner of the market are traders: they buy job lots, clean them up, put a condition label on them and sell them on. We are a repair workshop that also sells. The screen and the housing come off as standard, we solder at board level, and we handle the warranty ourselves instead of passing it on.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a second-hand device?
Somebody owned it before, but what reaches you has been rebuilt. There is a new screen in it and a new housing around it, the battery holds at least 85 per cent or it is replaced, and then the device goes through 32 check points. So you are not buying what the previous owner made of it, you are buying what our workshop made of it.
How much warranty is there?
Twenty-four months on the whole device, battery included. That is twice as long as Apple gives on its own refurbished devices and more than the legal minimum on second-hand goods in Belgium.
Are there scratches or dents on it?
No. The screen and the housing are new, so the device comes out of the box with no signs of use on it at all. That is also why there is no condition for you to choose here: there is only one.
Is the battery still any good?
Every device we sell has at least 85% battery health. If a device comes in below that, it gets a new battery before it reaches the shop. The measured figure is listed with every device.
Can I trade my old device in against a new one?
Yes. Work out what your device is worth in the trade-in calculator first and take that amount off the device you are buying. You can also simply have the trade-in price paid out without buying anything.
Are the devices SIM-free?
Always. We do not buy devices with a network lock, an MDM lock or an active iCloud account, so we do not sell them either.
Where do your devices come from?
From trade-ins with private owners in Belgium and the Netherlands, from business fleet renewals and from devices customers trade in with us. Every device is checked against the IMEI blacklist on arrival.
