Which iPad do you need?

For school, notes, video and ordinary browsing the standard iPad is more than enough. A tenth or eleventh generation iPad works with the Apple Pencil, has USB-C and gets through a full school day on one charge.

The iPad Air is the right choice if you use it alongside your laptop: thanks to the M chip it does not stall on heavy apps, and the 13-inch model gives you room to put two apps side by side. For drawing and photo editing, the Air is the point where an iPad becomes a proper tool.

You buy an iPad Pro for its screen and its speed. The M4 models have a tandem OLED screen that stays readable in bright light and shows the difference when you edit video. If you work in editing, photography or design, that screen pays for itself.

Wi-Fi, or Wi-Fi with 5G? Mobile data costs 120 euro extra with us. That is worth it if the iPad goes with you on the train or out to site, and a waste if it mostly stays at home and at school, because then your phone as a hotspot does the same job.
